"I love hedgehogs! When I saw these socks I had to get a pair. As is the case with all Socksmith socks they are a bit tight in the calf for me. I have a pretty big calf. Not too tight to wear, but observable. Love the pattern, though, and they are so warm."

Beautiful socks, poor sizing
"These are beautiful socks. I ordered L/XL for size 11 feet. I'm 5'10" and 135 lbs - long and lean. These socks are so tight around my feet and ankles that they are uncomfortable, and I can only wear them for a few hours at a time. There is very little stretch in the knit. I have not washed the socks yet but, since they are wool, I am afraid I will not be able to wear them at all after washing. I plan to give them to my grandchild in grade school."
